About Rod

DJ-1, MC, Drummer

Hi! I’m Rod. I’m a lifelong student of music, playing the piano and drums.
I am a professional drummer with experience playing with the Charleston Symphony Orchestra and performing on an episode of HBO’s Righteous Gemstones.
I can play and improv to just about any genre of music.
As your DJ and MC, I will make all announcements you ask of me and assure your timeline is carried out with minimal commentary. I let the music and drums do my talking.
I’ve been spinning records since I was a kid. That’s back when we worked with turntables and records. I was a resident DJ for two summers at an adult nightclub. As a grownup* I have played the drums with live bands at weddings and special events - I absolutely love it! I can’t wait to play at yours.

DJ-2, Event Coordinator

Hi, I am Tara. I handle all business operations and will be the first person you meet. I was a high school valedictorian and a double major honors graduate at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Rod and I have been running 2 other businesses for the last 27 years, and 20 of those years in the wedding and events industry. My mission is to guide you through the planning process and make your experience seamless and stress-free. On event day, you will see me managing timeline flow and music lineup, as well as helping keep the dance floor moving.
